Bootheel Visit

The kids and I took a quick trip to the bootheel at the end of February/beginning of March, since we hadn't been since Thanksgiving and they had a three-day weekend from school. Sam was supposed to come down with us, but he was behind at work since the kids had back-to-back Flu B and Strep (plus several snow days and other planned outs) in February.

The weather was nice! Leah and James on the porch swing:

We stopped at Burger King on the way home, and taped a Happy Birthday message for Grandma Mary in the parking lot.

These two do not seem particularly thrilled to be photographed eating their nuggets, however.
