Happy Halloween!

Amelie helped pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters in the neighborhood tonight wearing a Halloween holiday party dress made by my friend Liz Lawinger.

She is perhaps just a little smaller than a pumpkin. Even though ...

Earlier today, she modeled a pumpkin onesie from Aunt Juli & Cousin Rylee.

Rolling over and over

In this video, Amelie shows that she can roll over easier and more often than she was last month. There are 8 and a half rolls in the 3 and a half minutes of the video, so about one roll every 25 seconds. At the end, she's reaching under the coffee table for the ring Sam threw there earlier.

*She has rolled to the left before, but it doesn't happen very often.

** And sorry about the lighting; it looks like the only light on was the lamp on our end table.

Grandma & Grandpa Buffaloe Visit

Amelie's Grandma & Grandpa Buffaloe were able to come visit this week to meet baby Eleanor and got to stay with us.

Grandpa playing peek-a-boo with the baby:

Amelie's trying to break free, but she looks happy about it.

Froggy Jammies (thank you, Sally Deckard!)

Things Amelie Likes to Do

Amelie is a baby of simple pleasures.

She likes to play with her mobile (well, really anything she can reach).

She likes to roll around on the bed (and also the floor).

She likes to read books with Dad.

She likes to take a nap (under very specific conditions).

She likes to sit in the bumbo chair on the table (for a little while).

She likes to get a bath.

She likes to go for walks and see the sights in the neighborhood.

She likes to meet new friends.

Amelie and Charlie Junkel.

Amelie's cousin, Eleanor!

Pacifier

Here's a video I took tonight after dinner. Does this mean that Amelie's getting too old for the pacifer? In any case, Sam and I think we have a super-genius 4.5 month old :)

Computer Is Fixed!

So, we had technological difficulties at the Buffaloe household once again, but the computer is now fixed! Yea! Probably the only other theme these pictures have in common is that Amelie looks just a little surprised/confused in all of them.

Some overdue photos:

Who's the toughest baby on the block?

Why did you put red pants on me with this pink shirt?

Why is this toy so close to my face?

What's that thing you have in front of your face? Can I have it?

Whoa! What just happened?

Also, about half of the Baby Buffaloe Blog's readership knows this already, but Amelie is now a cousin! Maybe there'll be a few pictures of them together up on here soon!
