So, Amelie has this thing for cows. Cows (and apparently one very docile bull) live in the pasture behind Grandma & Grandpa Buffaloe's house. Papa Buffaloe is willing to indulge Amelie's
tyrannical unreasonable persistent demands to see "Cows! More cows!" This makes him her favorite person.
I recognize that look on Grandpa Buffalo's face. Richard and I get the same look when we are indulging Easton and Everett. We are grandparents, it's what we do, and I like knowing it's universal. That's a look of pure unadulterated love, and it is awesome. Lucky grandpa, lucky Amelie. It really is criminal how cute she is.
