Leah's 6th Birthday

Leah had a big birthday!

In the morning, she wanted a surprise for breakfast - so I made banana muffins with struesel topping & we put a candle in and sang her Happy Birthday. 

Then she & I did her birthday interview at the computer & she invited Mitchell over since we had an extra ticket to the planetarium. 

Sam took the kids over to the planetarium for the show & then they came home & had frozen pizza & canned peaches (we stuck another candle in & sang Happy Birthday once again). 

And then it was time for the Pinewood Derby. James entered a car & Leah also got to enter a car in the siblings division. 

After that, they got to go out to visit with Grandma Mary & Papaw and get presents

For supper, she requested McDonald's Happy Meals and there were more presents!

She got a doodle pad (which all the kids like) and a sensory bin with water beads (which all the kids like as well). 

She's holding the stuffed cheetah from Sam's folks - she named it Blur (after a Wild Kratt's video, I think.) 

Nana Jana got her a (specific kind of) Hatchimal: 

Cousin Levi (& Aunt Lana & Darrin) came the next day & we celebrated Grandma Doris's birthday! (Separate post to come, I hope!)
