We went to the Bootheel Youth Museum one day over Thanksgiving break and met up with some friends of ours from Columbia who were also visiting family in Kennett. Here's the spacecraft:
Fittingly, James is wearing his space pants (so stylish!)

Leah was looking cute, as always. Uncle Jeff got a big kick out of her sticking her hands in her "pockets" like this:
(Some of the other kids) did pictures with Santa on this tractor shortly after Leah took a turn, but we didn't participate in that.
James looks none too thrilled about the whole thing. (Which is a ruse - he did have a good time!)
Still looking vaguely grouchy, here's James playing with magnets.
I know this picture is blurry, but I wanted to include it anyway - James pushed Amelie out of the way to be in this picture. Ha!
The durable medical equipment was a big hit with the big girls.
Of course, Leah wants to do whatever the big kids are doing, and Hattie is usually very obliging.

There was a whole doctor's station, with anatomical models.
Also X-Rays:
James checking himself out doing some sweet dance moves.
There's Hattie again - and I think she's wearing a neck brace (from the medical station).
I remember this pendulum from last time:
Here's a video of Sam playing the ?? with a flip-flop. Isn't he talented?
Not pictured was the bubble room - James got really good at the sheet of bubbles, but nobody had much luck with the tractor tire.
