Last year, Amelie had three different wardobe changes for Halloween. This year, she had three different Halloween outfits, but we spread it out over three days. She wore her "My Mummy Loves Me" outfit to daycare, then her "Little Pumpkin" t-shirt to carve pumpkins at home, then the Super Baby costume I made tonight to pass out candy.
She isn't quite decided about the cape.
That's one way to wear it.
I think she looks quite the super hero here.
Off to save the world!
Amelie is thinking about whether or not she should share her candy with the dog.
Nope. Not going to share.
Yes, her cheeks are full of Snickers.
After waiting around for trick-or-treaters (we only got 3 groups of kids), Sam walked Amelie across the street to our neighbor Ann's house.
Super Baby!
In an attempt to restrain myself from blabbing on and on about the rugrats, I've started a blog to upload photos and videos and the occasional story for your internet browsing pleasure.

Pumpkin Carving
The small ones are acorn squash from our farm share. (We'll probably eat them sometime after Halloween.)
Amelie was interested in the pumpkin goop, but mainly just in transferring pumpkin seeds in and out of the bowl. (We cleaned them off and roasted them and have already eaten them all up!)
She just wanted to taste the top of the Jack-o-Lantern. It did smell good.
So she had a snack.
Spinning the squash like tops.
Happy Halloween!
Sam liked this picture the best.
When we turned out the light to show Amelie the Jack-O-Lantern, she tried to blow out the candle.
All ready for Trick-or-Treaters.

Photo Op
We got to the trail a little bit early (we were going walking with a friend), and Mama had the bright idea to take some photos.
Climbing ...
Yes, I got up here by myself. And yes, I'm eating a cracker. So?
Ready to go!

At the Park
Have I mentioned that we have a climber?
Amelie is absolutely fearless! She'd slide down the slide over and over all day long if she could. In fact, I think the way I let her go down by herself horrified one of the other mothers at the park :P

Walking
We've been enjoying the nice weather and going for a quick walk after supper almost every night -- I wonder how much longer it'll be nice enough and light enough outside to keep doing that?

Neighborhood Park
Amelie's just getting big enough to really enjoy our neighborhood park.
We walk down to it several times a week to play for a little bit.
The duck & caterpillar are big hits.
Amelie's becoming quite the climber.
