Have I mentioned that we have a climber?
Amelie is absolutely fearless! She'd slide down the slide over and over all day long if she could. In fact, I think the way I let her go down by herself horrified one of the other mothers at the park :P
In an attempt to restrain myself from blabbing on and on about the rugrats, I've started a blog to upload photos and videos and the occasional story for your internet browsing pleasure.

Walking
We've been enjoying the nice weather and going for a quick walk after supper almost every night -- I wonder how much longer it'll be nice enough and light enough outside to keep doing that?

Neighborhood Park
Amelie's just getting big enough to really enjoy our neighborhood park.
We walk down to it several times a week to play for a little bit.
The duck & caterpillar are big hits.
Amelie's becoming quite the climber.

Time to Eat!
Thank you, great-grandma Pat for the booster seat! We get a lot of use out of it :)
Eating breakfast.
Really, mom? More pictures?
Okay! Just kidding!
It's been a while since I posted a messy mealtime picture.
Pasta sauce!

Hanging Out with Grandma & Grandpa
"What do you wanna do?" "I dunno, what do you wanna do?"
We could sit on the deck ...
Talk on our cell phones ...
Try even harder to take out our pony tails ...
Or I could climb on the cooler ...
Grandma could try to keep me from falling off ...
Or we could flip!
Ta da!

Gone Swimmin'
Amelie spent most of the time swimming with Grandpa by trying to taste the water.
She took a couple of rides.
Dada is very sneaky.
Underwater! Check out the look on Grandma's face!
Let's try to taste that water one more time.

New Toys!
Amelie's grandparents came to visit and showered her with clothes and toys.
We're calling this one a buffalo:
Schroeder is not a fan of the popper:
This one belongs to Ellie:
Thanks, Grandma & Grandpa!

Laywer Dad
Sam was sworn in to the Missouri Bar on Monday.
Amelie and I rode down to Jefferson City with Grandma and Grandpa Buffaloe to see the ceremony (well, actually we waited in the hallway)and to check out Dada's office.
There was much carting around of the baby. First Grandma held Amelie.
Then Grandpa carried Amelie.
Then Mama wore Amelie in the carrier.
Congratulations, Dada!
