I think James envisioned something like Stanley's hair for Crazy Hair Day at his elementary school this year:
But unfortunately, I was unable to make his vision come to life at 6:45am. Eventually after some argument, he settled on this style:
And then Sam snapped these pictures of what it looked like by the time he came home at the end of the day:
