On our St. Louis trip, we also visited Laumeier Sculpture Park and did more tromping around outdoors. (According to the website, it's pronounced "Lau" (rhymes with "now")–"meier" (rhymes with "higher").
I hadn't visited before, either, and it was neat - some of the sculptures also change periodically so it would be fun to go back another time, too. There are 70 outdoor sculptures in the 105-acre park, and we took pictures of 3 of them! Ha!
These photos are all from Sam. This piece is called "Crete," by Charles Ginnever, finished in 1978. I liked the way it looked different from different angles as we walked around the park.
And then here are a couple of photos from the website just to give a better idea of the visit - and also looking through the current collection I see several we didn't get to in person.
